The Road |
|

The Road is based on the book by Cormac McCarthy (No Country For Old Men) and tells the story of a Father (played by Viggo Mortensen, Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3, History Of Violence) & Son (played by Kodi Smit-McPhee, Stephen King's Nightmares And Dreamscapes) who walk alone through burned America, Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the Ash on Wind. It is cold enough to crack stones, and when the snow falls it is Gray. The Sky is Dark. Their destination is the Coast although they don't know what if anything, awaits them there. They have nothing just a Pistol to defend themselves against the lawless bands that stalk The Road, the Clothes they are wearing, a cart of Scavenged food and each other. The Road is Directed By John Hillcoat (The Proposition) And Also Stars Charlize Theron (Monster, Aeon Flux) and Robert Duvall (The Godfather, Lonesome Dove, Days Of Thunder, Sling Blade) |
